This Advanced Systems and Designs ASDQMS SmartCable USB Keyboard, single gage interface connects the Sartorius Signum Compact Scale to a computer. Connects the Sartorius Signum Scale to the SmartCable Keyboard using a DB25 male cable connector---no additional cables required. The output of the SmartCable Keyboard is a standard USB 2.0 keyboard signal.
When this SmartCable Keyboard with its built-in keyboard wedge is connected to a computer, the Sartorius Signum Scale will be recognized as a keyboard device capable of sending data to any spreadsheet or SPC data collection application - no software wedge necessary. The Sartorius Scale measurements will appear just like they were typed in using a conventional computer keyboard, eliminating data gathering errors. If you want to collect data into your Excel spreadsheet or SPC application, simply select the cell where you want the data to appear and send a reading.
Readings can be triggered by the following:

Simple to use!
LED Indicator lights aid the user with the operation of the SmartCable. This ASDQMS SmartCable Keyboard is easily configured to output data in different output modes on your spreadsheet, such as CR, TAB, up, down, left, or right. The output mode is selected by adjusting the rotary switch on the SmartCable Keyboard. To access the rotary switch, simply remove the top cover by loosening two Phillips screws. A detailed operation manual is included with each SmartCable Keyboard.
Six foot standard cable length with special lengths available upon request.
Advanced Systems and Designs normally sets the SmartCable Keyboard to the default settings on the Sartorius Signum compact scale. Make sure both the SmartCable and Sartorius scale are set to the same values. Refer to the Sartorius Signum compact scale operating instructions for more information on external communication.
