REFURBISHED GageMux® RS232 Gage Interface
This REFURBISHED GageMux® RS232 is our original four-port multiple gage interface which allows you to connect up to four (4) digital gages to a single RS-232 serial port on a desktop computer or laptop. Output on the GageMux RS232 is a 25-pin DB25 female connector. A 9-volt DC power supply is included as well as a 25-pin to 9-pin serial cable. The GageMux® RS232 will work with gages that have digital outputs compatible with Mitutoyo digital gages. Gages available from Chicago Dial, Federal, Ono Sokki, and many others manufacturers, have digital outputs compatible with Mitutoyo digital gages.

The GageMux® RS232 is configured through internal DIP switches or commands from a host computer. These commands include:

Request a reading from a channel

Change the setup of a channel

Change the output string mode

Change the foot switch mode

Reset the GageMux® RS232 gage interface
Readings are initiated by pressing a send button on the gage, pressing a footswitch (not included) connected to the GageMux RS232, or a host command from a computer. A detailed operation manual is included with this RS232 GageMux multiple input gage interface. Leadtimes are slightly longer for this item since our new GageMux USB has replaced this model.
