Mitutoyo 500 Series Gage SmartCable™ with Right-Angle Connector

This Advanced Systems & Designs SmartCable™ USB Keyboard single input gage interface connects a standard Mitutoyo gage (Series 570/543/575/572) to a computer. Connects directly to the gage using a 90 degree right angle connector---no additional cables required. The output of the SmartCable Keyboard gage interface is a standard USB 2.0 keyboard signal.
Connecting the SmartCable™ Keyboard with its built-in keyboard wedge to a computer will allow the SmartCable™ to be identified as a keyboard device that can send data to any Microsoft Windows application - no complicated software wedge required. The SmartCable™ Keyboard gage interface will make the gage readings appear as if they were typed in using a standard keyboard - eliminates data collection errors. If you want to collect data into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet or explorer based SPC program, simply select the cell where you want the data to appear.
Readings can be triggered by any of the following:

Pressing the push button on the SmartCable Keyboard gage interface

Depressing a connected footswitch (not included)

Pressing the send button on the gage (if it has one)
Simple to Use!
This SmartCable™ Keyboard interface is easily configured to output data in different modes, such as CR, TAB, up, down, left, right and continuous reading. The output mode is selected by adjusting the rotary switch on the SmartCable™ Keyboard. To access the rotary switch, simply remove the top cover by loosening two Phillips screws. A detailed operation manual is included with each SmartCable™ Keyboard. Six foot cable length - special lengths available upon request.
