The TT05 Digital Torque Tester from Mark-10 was developed for measuring cap application and removal torque. The Mark-10 TT05 Series Digital Torque Tester is connected to a computer using this Advanced Systems & Designs SmartCable USB Keyboard, single gage RS232 interface cable. A 15-pin HD male cable connector connects the Mark-10 Digital Torque Tester serial output to the ASDQMS SmartCable Keyboard, eliminating the need for extra cables. The SmartCable Keyboard produces a USB 2.0 HID keyboard output.
The Mark-10 TT Series Digital Torque Tester will be identified as a HID keyboard device that can communicate data to any software application using the SmartCable Keyboard gage interface cable and its built-in keyboard wedge - no additional software wedge required. The SmartCable Keyboard serial gage interface will make the digital readings from the Mark-10 Digital TT05 Torque Tester look as if they were typed in using a conventional computer keyboard, eliminating data collection errors. Simply select the cell where you want the data to display and trigger the reading.
Readings can be triggered by the following:

Pressing the DATA button on the Mark-10 TT05 Digital Torque Tester

Pressing the push button on the ASDQMS SmartCable Keyboard gage interface cable

Depressing a connected footswitch (not included)

LED Indicator lights aid the user with the operation of the SmartCable gage interface. It is very simple to set this ASDQMS SmartCable Keyboard to output data in your spreadsheet in different output modes, including CR, TAB, up, down, left, and right. The SmartCable Keyboard gage interface's rotating internal switch is used to select the output mode. Just undo the two Phillips screws on the top lid to reveal the rotary switch.

An easy to read but detailed operation manual is included with this SmartCable Keyboard gage interface including instructions on how to properly set your Mark-10 Torque Tester for RS232 output. To make it easier, Advanced Systems & Designs typically sets the SmartCable Keyboard to the default settings on the Mark-10 Series TT05 Digital Torque Tester. Make sure both the SmartCable gage interface cable and the Mark-10 Digital Torque Tester are set to the same values.
