The Mark-10 Series TT Digital Cap Torque Tester is designed to measure bottle cap application and removal torque. This Advanced Systems & Designs ASDQMS SmartCable USB Keyboard, single gage RS232 interface cable connects the Mark-10 TT Series Digital Cap Torque Tester to a computer. Attaches the Mark-10 Digital Cap Torque Tester serial output to the ASDQMS SmartCable Keyboard using a 15-pin HD male cable connector---no additional cables required. The output of the SmartCable™ Keyboard is a standard USB 2.0 keyboard signal. Works with the TT01, TT02, TT03 or TT03C Torque Testers.
Connecting the SmartCable Keyboard gage interface cable with its built-in keyboard wedge will allow the Mark-10 TT Series Digital Cap Torque Tester to be identified as a keyboard device that can send data to any Microsoft Windows application - no complicated software wedge required. The SmartCable Keyboard serial gage interface cable will make the Mark-10 Digital Cap Torque Tester digital readings appear as if they were typed in using a standard keyboard - eliminates data collection errors. If you want to collect data into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet or any SPC program, simply select the cell where you want the data to appear and trigger the reading.

Pressing the DATA button on the Mark-10 TT Series Digital Cap Torque Tester

Pressing the push button on the ASDQMS SmartCable Keyboard gage interface cable

Depressing a connected footswitch (not included)
Simple to use!
LED Indicator lights aid the user with the operation of the SmartCable™ gage interface. This ASDQMS SmartCable™ Keyboard is easily configured to output data in different output modes on your spreadsheet, such as CR, TAB, up, down, left, or right. The output mode is selected by adjusting the rotary switch on the SmartCable™ Keyboard gage interface. To access the rotary switch, simply remove the top cover by loosening two Phillips screws.

A detailed operation manual is included with this SmartCable™ Keyboard gage interface including instructions on how to set your Mark-10 Torque Tester. Advanced Systems & Designs normally sets the SmartCable™ Keyboard to the default settings on the Mark-10 Series TT Digital Cap Torque Tester. Make sure both the SmartCable gage interface cable and the Mark-10 Digital Cap Torque Tester are set to the same values. Refer to the Mark-10 TT Series Digital Cap Torque Tester user guide for more information on peripheral communication.
