Mahr Federal uMaxum II Indicator / Pocket Surf IV Digimatic Output Interface Cable; 12 foot length
Send data to our GageMux® gage interface or other Digimatic devices
NOTE: Twelve foot cable length for special applications. This FlashCable® gage interface will change the output on the Mahr uMaxum II, Micro Maxum Digital Indicator, Pocket Surf IV, Millimess Inductive Digital Comparator, or Extramess 2000 to a Mitutoyo Digimatic output. Designed to work with our GageMux® multiple input gage interface or other Digimatic devices that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal. See below for applicable gage options.
Unlike other manufacturer cables, this FlashCable® interface cable does not draw any battery power from the gage.
When connected to our GageMux® interface, pin 9 of the 10-pin Digimatic input port provides the power to the FlashCable® interface cable. On devices other than our GageMux® gage interface, pin 9 of the connector must provide a 5v DC power to the FlashCable gage interface in order for this cable to work correctly. Contact us for information on how to test for this 5v power requirement.

The data transfer can be triggered using any of the following methods:

Using a Footswitch on the GageMux® USB gage interface or similar triggering method

Using our 300-1S in-line handswitch

Using a Footswitch on the FlashCable® (not included)
- Sending a gage read command from the computer to the gage
