Product Description
The 4-Port GageMux® USB Keyboard with a Toggle Switch Option
Send data directly to Excel---No Software Wedge Required!
The 500-40-KB-USB-TG Advanced Systems & Designs - ASDQMS 4-Port GageMux® USB gage interface is similar to our 500-40-KB-USB-1 but adds a toggle switch for each port. The user can send data from individual footswitch ports or using the individual toggle switches. This GageMux® USB makes it easy to send multiple readings from each port directly into Excel without adding multiple footswitches. Helps to keep the workstation organized but still allows you to use the footswitch as required.
SPC data collection made easy!! Compatible with all SPC software programs including Explorer based SPC programs. The Advanced Systems & Designs GageMux® universal gage interface USB+RS232+Keyboard can send data to any Windows program (Excel, Word, Access, Windows Explorer) without using a complicated software wedge. Just plug in and play!
Similar to our ASDQMS GageMux® USB gage interface, this 4-port GageMux® USB is simple to setup for your data collection needs. The GageMux® USB + RS232 + Keyboard will make your gage readings appear as if they were typed in using a standard keyboard. You can also easily configure this GageMux® to send an "Enter" key or "Tab" key after each reading is sent. And, it can be easily configured to work the same as our standard 4-port GageMux USB. This GageMux® gage interface meets all of your data collection requirements.
As with all of our GageMux USB Interfaces, this GageMux USB multiplexer supports four (4) inputs, can daisy-chain up hundreds of gages, and reads directly from Mitutoyo gages or Digimatic output gage cables such as our FlashCable® gage interface cables. The GageMux® USB has LED indicators that communicate to the user if a reading is sent to the computer, if a gage is reading incorrectly, and which output mode you have configured (Keyboard, USB or RS232). The GageMux® USB provides configurable options using rotary switches or commands stored in memory. It has a red LED for each port displaying errors, a RS232 pass-thru port to connect 100’s of gages to a RS232 or USB serial port on your computer.
This ASDQMS GageMux® USB requires no software wedge or other intermediary software. All of our GageMux USB gage interfaces have simple, user friendly setup – your computer automatically installs the USB driver when the GageMux® is plugged into your computer USB port---just plug and play! If you choose to use the GageMux® as a RS232 9-pin output device, it is easy to change the internal switch settings, connect a serial cable (not included), and the GageMux® will send data to your computer RS232 COM port. No need for additional drivers or external cable converters. We make SPC data collection easy!
Since its invention, the GageMux USB universal gage interface has provided updated functionalities including faster speed and more gage compatibility. You can now send readings up to 100 times faster than with ordinary RS232 serial connections. In addition to the faster speed, the GageMux® USB can support gages from over 500 different manufacturers.
