GageMux® USB 2-Port Universal Gage Interface

The best things come in two! Our 2-port GageMux® universal gage interface is compatible with all SPC software data collection programs! The 500-20-USB Advanced Systems & Designs 2-port GageMux® USB gage interface multiplexer has revolutionized data collection and storage. This compact gage interface allows users to connect hundreds of measuring devices and gages to an automated data collection system such as a computer or laptop computer into any SPC software data collection package.
NOTE: Our GageMux USB automatically provide d2 type, seven digit output for all of your high resolution gages.
This 2-Port GageMux® USB gage interface supports two (2) inputs, can daisy-chain 100's of gages, and reads directly from Mitutoyo gages or Digimatic output gage cables such as our FlashCable® gage interfaces. The GageMux® USB gage interface has LED indicators that communicate to the user if a reading is sent correctly to the computer, if a gage is reading incorrectly, and which output mode you have configured (USB or RS232). All of our GageMux® USB gage interfaces provide simple configurable options using rotary switches or commands stored in memory.
The Advanced Systems & Designs GageMux® USB universal gage interface has a simple and user friendly setup – your computer automatically installs the USB driver when the GageMux® is plugged into your computer USB port---just plug and play! If you choose to use the GageMux® as a RS232 9-pin output device, simply change the internal switch settings, connect a serial cable (not included), and the GageMux® will send data to your computer RS232 COM port. No need for additional drivers or external cable converters. There is a red LED for each port displaying errors, a RS232 pass thru port and connects 100’s of gages to a RS232 or USB serial port on your computer.
Since its invention, the updated functionalities of the GageMux® USB gage interface include faster speed and more gage compatibility. You can now send readings up to 100 times faster than with ordinary serial connections. In addition to the faster speed, the GageMux® USB can support gages from over 500 different manufacturers.
