Starrett 2900 Indicator FlashCable® Gage Interface Cable
Sends data to our GageMux® multiple input interface
The ASDQMS FlashCable® gage interface converts the output on the Starrett 2900 Capacitive Electronic Indicator to an output in a Mitutoyo Digimatic format. This FlashCable® gage interface is designed to work with our GageMux® multiple input gage interface or other data acquisition systems that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal. This FlashCable® gage interface does not obtain any power from the gage.
When connected to our GageMux®, pin 9 of the 10-pin input port provides the power to the FlashCable® gage interface cable. If using devices other than our GageMux® multiple input gage interface, make sure pin 9 of the 10-pin connector provides a 5v DC supply to the FlashCable® gage interface. Contact us for more information on this requirement.

The data transfer can be triggered using any of the following methods:

Using the Footswitch on the GageMux® USB or similar triggering method

Using our 300-1S in-line handswitch

Using a Footswitch on the FlashCable® (not included)

Sending a gage read command from the computer to the gage
