Edmunds E9000 | 9300 Accusetter II Column Amplifier FlashCable® Interface Cable
Send data to our GageMux® gage interface or other Digimatic input devices
This Advanced Systems and Designs (ASDQMS) FlashCable® gage interface is designed to change the output on the Edmunds E9000 or 9300 Accusetter II Column Amplifier to Digimatic format. The 9-pin male connector on the Advanced Systems & Designs FlashCable® connects to a female output connector on the Edmunds Accusetter II Column Amplifier.
This FlashCable® gage interface is engineered to work with our GageMux® multi-input gage interface or similar devices that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal. The FlashCable® does not receive power from the Edmunds Accusetter II.
Pin 9 of the 10-pin input port on the GageMux® gage interface provides the power to this FlashCable® gage interface. When using similar devices make sure pin 9 of the 10-pin connector provides 5V DC power to the FlashCable® gage interface. The LED on the FlashCable® is lit a solid GREEN when properly connected to a Digimatic signal. The LED flashes RED when a data request is triggered or data is sent from the FlashCable® gage interface.
The data transfer can be triggered using any of the following methods:

Using the footswitch or ENTER button on the Edmunds E9000/9300 Accusetter II Column Amplifier

Using the Footswitch on the GageMux® USB or similar triggering method

Using our 300-1S in-line handswitch

Using a Footswitch on the FlashCable® (not included)

Sending a gage read command from the computer to the Edmunds E9000/9300 Accusetter II Column Amplifier
A detailed operation manual is included with this FlashCable® gage interface. The factory setting on the Advanced Systems & Designs FlashCable® gage interface are the default settings on the Edmunds E9000/9300 Accusetter II Column Amplifier. Both must be set to the same communication values. Refer to the Edmunds Accusetter II user manual for more information on setting up external communication.
