Adam Equipment CBC Series Counting Scale Interface Cable
Send data to our GageMux® or other Digimatic input devices
The CBC model scales are metric weight only scales. The CBCa scales can be changed from pounds to kilograms. Our Digimatic output FlashCable® is capable for use on either model with no adjustments required on your part.This FlashCable® gage interface will change the output on the Adam Equipment CBC Series Counting Scale to an output in a Digimatic format. The 9-pin female connector on the Advanced Systems & Designs FlashCable® gage interface will connect directly male connector on the Adam Equipment CBC Series Counting Scale.
This gage interface is designed to work with our GageMux® or other similar devices that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal. When connected to our GageMux®, the GageMux® provides the power to the FlashCable®. When using devices other than the GageMux® make sure pin 9 of the 10-pin connector provides a 5VDC supply to the FlashCable® gage interface.
When connected to the GageMux® gage interface, the LED on the FlashCable® gage interface turns GREEN. This indicates that the FlashCable® gage interface is connected properly. The LED turns RED when the data is being sent or a data request is triggered.
The data transfer can be triggered using any of the following methods:

Using the PRINT button on the Adam Equipment Counting Scale

Using our 300-1S in-line handswitch

Using a Footswitch on the FlashCable® gage interface (not included)

Using the Footswitch on the GageMux® USB (or equivalent triggering method on similar devices

Sending a gage read command from the computer to the gage
A detailed operation manual is included with this FlashCable® gage interface. Advanced Systems & Designs normally sets the FlashCable® gage interface to the default settings on the CBC Series Counting Scale. Make sure both the Adam Equipment Counting Scale and FlashCable® gage interface are set to the same values. Refer to the Adam Equipment CBC Series Counting Scale user guide for more information on external communication. Six foot standard cable length - special lengths readily available.
