The Advanced Systems & Designs - ASDQMS Smart Cable™ USB Keyboard single gage interface connects the Sartorius Entris Laboratory Balance to a computer. It connects the Sartorius Entris Balance to the SmartCable™ Keyboard using a 25-pin male cable connector---no additional cables required. The output of the SmartCable™ Keyboard is a standard USB 2.0 keyboard signal.

Connecting the SmartCable Keyboard with its built-in keyboard wedge to a computer will allow the Sartorius Entris Balance to be identified as a keyboard device that can send data to any Microsoft Windows application - no software wedge required. The SmartCable Keyboard will make the Sartorius Entris Laboratory Balance readings appear as if they were typed in by using a standard keyboard – it eliminates data collection errors. If you want to send a reading to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, simply select the cell where you want the data to appear.

Readings can be triggered by pressing the Data Output button on the Sartorius Balance or by pressing the button or footswitch on the SmartCable™ Keyboard gage interface.
