Easy to Use Output Cable for Avery Weigh Indicator

Advanced Systems and Designs / Greystone Industries LLC has designed the ASDQMS SmartCable™ Keyboard single gage interface which connects the Avery Weigh-Tronic ZM301 Weight Indicator directly to a computer. The SmartCable™ Keyboard interface attaches to the Avery Indicator using a direct wire lead RS232 connector. No additional cables are required.

Connecting the ASDQMS SmartCable Keyboard with its built-in keyboard wedge to a computer allows the Avery Indicator readings to be identified as a keyboard device that can send data to any Microsoft Windows application. No software wedge is required. The readings appear as if they were typed in using a standard keyboard which eliminates data collection errors. If you want to collect data into your SPC software or Excel spreadsheet, simply select the cell where you want the data to appear.

Readings can be triggered by pressing the SEND or PRINT button on the Avery Weigh-Tronic ZM301 Weight Indicator, by pressing the button on the SmartCable™ Keyboard gage interface or by depressing a connected footswitch (not included) or similar triggering device
