Send Data Readings to Excel with ASDQMS SmartCable Keyboard

The Advanced Systems & Designs / Greystone Industries LLC SmartCable Keyboard single gage interface connects the Heidenhain ND280 Digital Position Display to a computer to send data to Excel or your SPC software. The Heidenhain ND280 Digital Display is connected to the SmartCable Keyboard using a common 9-pin female cable connector.

The ASDQMS SmartCable Keyboard gage interface with its built-in hardware wedge allows keystroke data to be sent to any Microsoft Windows application (like Excel) or any SPC program. No messy software wedge is required. The SmartCable Keyboard will make your Heidenhain ND280 Digital Display readings appear as if they were typed in using a standard keyboard eliminating data collection errors. If you want to collect SPC data into Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet applications, simply select the cell where you want the data to appear.

Readings can be triggered by pressing the send, PRINT soft key on the Heidenhain ND280 Digital Position Display, by pressing the button on the ASDQMS SmartCable Keyboard gage interface or by depressing a connected footswitch.
