Omega Digital Force Gauge Excel Output Cable

Our Advanced Systems & Designs - ASDQMS SmartCable™ Keyboard, single gage interface, connects the Omega DFG55 Digital Force Gauge to a computer using a male serial cable connector. No additional cables are required. Data keystrokes are easily sent to Microsoft Excel, SPC programs or other spreadsheet programs including Apple Mac.

Connecting the SmartCable™ Keyboard with its built-in keyboard wedge allows the Omega Digital Force Gauge to be identified as a keyboard device that can send keystroke data to any SPC software program. No complicated software wedge or set up is required.

The SmartCable™ Keyboard gage interface will make the Omega Digital Force Gauge readings appear as if they were typed in using a standard keyboard eliminating data collection errors. If you want to collect data into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet or any SPC program, simply select the cell where you want the data to appear.

Readings can be triggered by pressing the Data / Enter button on the Omega Digital Force Gauge, by pressing the push button on the SmartCable™ Keyboard gage interface, or by depressing a connected footswitch.
