Adam Equipment Data Collection Cable

The Advanced Systems & Designs - ASDQMS SmartCable™ USB Keyboard single gage interface connects the Adam Equipment Luna (LAB, LPB, LTB, LBB) Series Balance to a computer. The ASDQMS SmartCable™ Keyboard gage interface uses a 9-pin RS232 serial male cable connector. There are no additional cables required.

Connecting the SmartCable™ Keyboard with its built-in keyboard wedge to a computer will allow the Adam Equipment Luna Series Balance to be identified as a keyboard device that can send data to any Microsoft Windows application or data collection system. No software wedge is required. The digital readings appear as if they were typed in using a standard keyboard which eliminates data collection errors. If you want to collect data into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet or any SPC software program, simply select the cell where you want the data to appear and trigger a reading.

Readings can be triggered by pressing the push button on the Advanced Systems and Designs SmartCable™ Keyboard gage interface, depressing a connected footswitch, or pressing the print button on the Adam Equipment Luna Series Balance.
