This new ASDQMS Advanced Systems & Designs SmartCable single gage interface connects the A&D Apollo IP65 GX or GF Series Balance to a computer without requiring additional cables. It has an integrated hardware keyboard wedge, allowing the A&D Balance to be recognized as a keyboard device and send numeric data to any Microsoft Windows application (like Excel) or SPC data collection program as numeric keystrokes, eliminating the need for a software wedge. The interface enables the A&D Balance numeric readings to appear as if typed using a standard keyboard, reducing data collection errors. To collect data, simply select the desired cell in your application and transmit the reading using the PRINT button on the A&D Balance, the button on the SmartCable interface, or a connected footswitch. The SmartCable Keyboard interface is user-friendly and comes with an easy-to-understand instruction manual.
