Send Digimatic Data Output from the Opto Caliper to a GageMux

The Advanced Systems & Designs - ASDQMS Digimatic output FlashCable® sends data from the Fowler Sylvac Ultra Cal V Caliper, Fowler Sylvac Mark V or VI Indicator or Starrett 798 Opto Caliper to our GageMux®. The FlashCable® interface cable can be used with the GageMux® or other devices that recognize Mitutoyo Digimatic signals. Same as the Starrett 798SCM Gage Cable.

The ASDQMS FlashCable® is pre-configured to easily work with your Fowler Sylvac or Starrett opto gage. The Advanced Systems and Designs FlashCable® does not obtain power from the gage. When connected to the GageMux® multiple input interface, the input port provides the power to the FlashCable® gage interface. When using devices other than the GageMux®, make sure that pin 9 provides a 5V DC supply to the FlashCable® gage interface.

The data transfer can be triggered by a data send button on the gage, a footswitch connected to the FlashCable® or GageMux® or software commands from the GageMux® gage interface.
