This SmartCable™ USB Keyboard, single gage interface, connects the Mark-10 Series 4 / 5 / 7 Tension / Compression Force Gauge to a computer using a 15-pin HD male cable connector---no additional cables required.

The output of the SmartCable™ Keyboard is a standard USB 2.0 keyboard signal. Connecting the SmartCable™ with its built-in keyboard wedge will allow the Mark-10 Series 4 / 5 / 7 Tension / Compression Force Gauge to be identified as a keyboard device that can send data to any Microsoft Windows application - no complicated software wedge required. The SmartCable™ Keyboard gage interface will make the Mark-10 digital readings appear as if they were typed in using a standard keyboard to eliminate data collection errors. If you want to collect data into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet or Explorer based SPC programs, simply select the cell where you want the data to appear.
