GageMux USB 4-Port Universal Gage Interface
Send data to any SPC data collection program
This GageMux USB gage interface is compatible with all SPC software programs. The 500-40-USB Advanced Systems and Designs - ASDQMS 4 Port GageMux USB multiplexer has revolutionized data collection and storage. It allows users to connect hundreds of different types of measuring devices and gages to an automated data collection system such as a PC or hand-held computer into any SPC software data collection package.
NOTE: Our GageMux USB automatically provides d2 type, seven digit output for all of your high resolution gages!
This 4-Port GageMux USB universal gage interface supports four (4) inputs, can daisy-chain 100's of gages, and reads directly from Mitutoyo gages or Digimatic output gage cables such as our FlashCable. The GageMux USB gage interface has LED indicators that communicate to the user if a reading is sent correctly to the computer, if a gage is reading incorrectly, and which output mode you have configured (USB or RS232). The GageMux USB gage interface provides configurable options using rotary switches or commands stored in memory. It has a red LED for each port displaying errors, a RS232 pass thru port and connects 100’s of gages to a RS232 or USB serial port.
All ASDQMS GageMux USB gage interfaces have a simple, user friendly setup – your computer automatically installs the USB driver when the GageMux gage interface is plugged into your computer USB port---just plug and play.If you choose to use the GageMux as a RS232 9-pin output device, simply change the internal switch settings, connect a serial cable (not included), and the GageMux will send data to your computer RS232 COM port. No need for additional drivers or external cable converters.
